  • Not too good

I loved The Star Walk 1 before, but totally turned off on Star Walk 2. Poor images, less informative and worst of all, in app charges. I wish I can uninstall 2 and go back to 1.
  • Star Walk (1) was much better

The first star walk had everything included. Now if you need to pay extra ( a lot $.99-$2.99 ) for the same items. Not sure version 2 is much better.

The upgrade includes the planets and satellites, plus more.
  • very confusing and greedy

this app is very confusing - cannot figure out how to set custom location. Ver 1 was much simpler and better. Also, they double charge - I purchased this as part of the astronomy package, but then they charged for upgrades to full versions each of three apps in it. Most of the settings is occupied by letting you like them, not by essential stuff.
  • Cool but...

It is a super cool app and provokes thought in many stargazers minds. It also encourages astrology. But I do think that if you pay for an app firsthand than you should get all of the amenities. Maybe raise the price or something. But you shouldn’t have in app purchases on a app you already had to pay for.

This app is amazing. You can look for specific things or notifications can alert you to something in the sky; either way what an experience. Hold it up to see what's in your sky including, my favorite, meteor showers. In December I saw the notification for the Geminid meteor shower, I ran outside and it was spectacular! If you want to know about something in particular it can be your resource and show 2D models as well. I can't say enough about all this app can do, it's worth more than every penny you spend!!!

Not sure if I am using it right or not. I want to be able to point my iPad up to the sky and it tell me what it is or where something is. Maybe it is doing it and I just do not know how to interpret it. I only did the 2 * to have someone read it and maybe get back with me

I love using it with my Apple Watch. It’s great together with the phone. All you do is point and the on the phone the screen will rotate to where you point to.

I’ve tried several astronomy apps through the years and this is, by far, the best I’ve found.
  • Pure fake App!

You download the lite version, and inside it they tell you if you pay $5.99 you are going to have access to the planets and everything, once you buy it you are going to have nothing, just few things and then they tell you there if you pay $2.99 more you are going to have access to the full package of planets, it is a pure lie if you follow the play of this Applications, that are going to still your money al the time and at the end you are to pay if you follow it $100.00! I would not recommend to anybody this Application part of too many bundles and lies!!!
