    When you drive for Uber you will experience a large amount of mysterious events, an example Uber uses maps from 1999, I am always told by Uber to turn down one way streets. Also why can’t I know who I am picking up, an example maybe let me know if it’s a male or female, one person or two people, bags or no bags. Lyft is better, you get to know where you are traveling before the person is in your vehicle, you also have to have a picture profile as a rider, Uber is trash.

    Can’t even call Uber. Everything that I have looked say you can contact Uber through the driver support but it is nothing on here. Hate it!!!!

  • The Uber Partner app deserves 5 stars

    I have almost 5 thousand trips as a driver and in my opinion the Uber Partner app is absolutely fantastic. It’s very stable on my iPhone 7 Plus with great performance and no glitches. It also offers some awesome features on top of that. I strongly feel that this app has earned and deserves 5-star ratings. I’m confused about why the ratings for it are so low and I can only think of a few possible reasons why they’re so low, either: 1.) The users don’t know how to use the app and instead of learning how to use it, they become a frustrated reviewer. 2.) The users have smartphones that have poor performance and they’re mistakenly thinking the poor performance is due to the app. 3.) The users have poor signal from their carrier and they’re mistakenly blaming bad connections on the app. The vast majority of reviews that are less than 5-star for this app are likely a combination of 2 or all 3 of the above. I also wonder if the competition might be writing fake reviews against Uber in an attempt to decrease their dominant market share. A few things to think about...

    Your application needs to be integrated with CarPlay, most of the new cars are equipped and ready for the technology and it would be perfect using the built-in car screen to interact with the App. PS: Just sent you comment through the help portal as requested

    Bugs need to be fixed : 1) App crashes after dropping off a costumer. 2) It doesn’t refresh often. It can show SURGE PRICE in area even if it is gone already. 3) Address written for pick up and address where takes UBER NAVIGATION are different at least 35% of 100. 4) Uber map needs update, because sometimes it wants make a turn where it is prohibited.

    I started by giving five star b/c I still make some money but that doesn’t mean I like Uber. I have been driving since the beginning and found out that this company called Uber is totally unfair and on the other hand Lyft looks genuine though requests are limited. Uber still talks about 180 days of change but according to me Uber was better in the past than today. Few of the issues with Uber are - No value for the driver at all who trust Uber and waste time waiting for a request. How we get a request is set in a systematic unfair way. I have got requests miles away where there were many drivers and picked riders and took them a mile or less, my question is why Uber gave me requests like this one not the drivers around there. Is it because SUVs who though accept xl trips are not set to do short trips. It happened so many time and this shows how Uber’s value to drivers is disappointing and I am trying to get as many info so as to present it to the respective Uber personnel. Imagine, I some times get tired of short trips and shut off my Uber app and drive for Lyft which gives you short and very long trips if you are the lucky one. It is a clean fact that Uber can get you at least a couple of long rides but the way they set the system seems unfair. - the app needs improvement. It takes forever to see tips if any. The other thing, Your acceptance rate and cancellation goes down with the speed of light even when you do trips. Sometimes , I see my acceptance is on the same spot even after doing a lot of trips. Do you know what will happen when your acceptance rate is low, it takes forever to get a request though you are waiting and driving every where like an idiot. - the 24/7 over the phone support team is a complete disaster. Most of the time when you call, you get a guy, Asian accent with a lot of noise in the background and except few of them, most of the support team are not serious to answer your question and at the end of the conversation, they wait until you hang up the phone b/c they don’t want us to rate the conversation or the support system. Generally, I know that Uber has more demand than Lyft that is why I am still driving for Uber though I am not happy at all. “ Pls note that- I updated my review and will continue to do that whenever I see a change “

    I’ve contacted Uber about the fact that I’ve never gotten a promotional offer. Other drivers in my area have, including ones I’ve referred. The surge feature also seems to be just an illusion as I have put myself dead center of a surging area many times without a single request or requests for fares outside the surging area. They would be better off not showing surges if the feature isn’t real.

    Every city is different but if you’re driving for less then $1 per mile you are a sucker. Learn how to do math. 12 cents a minute is less then minimum wage was 20 years ago. Only reason why the price is so low is because so many people are willing to work for peanuts because they can’t do math. The uber gps is horrible, uber support doesn’t exist, it’s just automated messages. I can go one for days why this company is horrible, but people still drive. I guess people like to be taken advantage of, oh well, happy I quit.
